Race Cask Ventilator
The Race Cask Ventilator is a natural aid to increasing cask ale shelf life and can extend the shelf-life of cask real ale by many days. Gas released from the beer is retained in the cask by the non return valve creating a blanket pressure.
Air only enters the cask when the beer is drawn, The Race Cask Ventilator is a twin chamber non-return valve which allows the naturally produced Co2 to escape whilst retaining a slight blanket of Co2 restricting the ingress of air.
